Graduation doesn’t end your relationship with the School of Computing and Engineering. We encourage alumni to return regularly, be it for career advice or to help the next generation of engineers and computer scientists. Alumni serve as campus volunteers, mentors, lecturers and scholarship donors. Their help is vital to our robust scholarship program, state-of-the-art facilities, faculty and community outreach programs.

All graduates of UMKC are automatically considered members of the Alumni Association. There are no annual dues, but you are invited to participate financially by supporting the Alumni Fund at any amount.
Donating to any scholarship, school or program at UMKC in an amount of $50.00 or more per year, makes you a Contributing Member. At this level, you are eligible for additional alumni benefits and are a voting member of the Association.

At UMKC, volunteers give of their time and expertise on alumni committees, advisory boards and friends organizations. They mentor our students, advise our deans and help us grow. Each year around 2,600 volunteers donate more than 244,000 hours of their time.
