The School of Computing and Engineering (SCE) is proud to partner with local companies and organizations to support Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education and outreach in the Kansas City community. These collaborative efforts provide opportunities for students to engage with SCE faculty, students and the professional community through summer programs, school visits to SCE and community programs.
Through our faculty's time, various grant programs and the commitment of support from SCE, we are also able to provide programming to enrich the lives of our community members and provide opportunities for STEM education to all interested groups.
SCE works with local partners to offer several summer programs each year with the goal of inspiring middle and high school students to pursue a future in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
Visit our summer programs page to learn more.
SCE welcomes school groups with students interested in learning about engineering, computer science and information technology. We limit the number of groups we can host each semester, so please contact us early to arrange for your visit.
