The School of Computing and Engineering values academic programs that challenge students and drive complex thought. Our courses are innovative and rigorous.
Student success is our ultimate goal, and faculty and staff are dedicated to making positive outcomes possible for every student.
Are you struggling with a course or an assignment? SCE tutors can help guide you through challenging courses in each department. Stop by during tutoring hours if you’re experiencing difficulty.
Students build leadership skills when they take part in a mentoring program. Peer mentors and student ambassadors at SCE help new students acclimate to college life, and the work is no small position. Studies show that peer-to- peer mentoring improves student retention and social development. At SCE, mentors form connections with freshmen and assist with campus events.
SCE honor societies recognize academic excellence. Honor societies also connect members to community service projects, mentoring, leadership training and more. Many provide scholarship opportunities and give students an edge in the job search. Membership is by invitation, and each honor society determines its selection criteria.
