Work with your team to design, build and test – that is, break – your custom bridge.
RooBuilders will be on hiatus for the 2016-17 school year.
RooBuilders is a middle and high school competition organized annually by faculty at the UMKC School of Computing and Engineering in partnership with the Western Chapter of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE).
The Goal: Make a bridge that withstands the maximum load before it fails.
First things first. Organize your team. Then review the official rules and register online.
From there, you’ll design your bridge to present at Kick-Off Day, where you’ll receive your materials and create a computer model of your bridge, paving the way to competition.
