Honor societies
Honor societies have a long-standing tradition of recognizing academic excellence. Beyond the prestige of membership, there are many benefits to accepting the invitation to join. Honor societies can enhance the educational experience through mentoring and networking programs, community service projects and leadership training, and many provide access to scholarship opportunities. While membership is a great resume enhancer, honor societies also can offer intellectual enrichment and personal development. Membership is by invitation, and each honor society determines its selection criteria.
