PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL (PMP) PREP CLASS

CURRENT SECTION – Fall 2019

CLASS GOAL:  Gain an understanding of the project management concepts, terms, processes, and scenarios that are required content for the PMP Certification Exam in this 35 hour course.

DATES:  September 12, 13, 16, 17 & 18

TIME: Thursday-Friday; and Monday-Wednesday from 9:00AM – 5:00PM (no classes over the weekend)

LOCATION:  UMKC School of Computing and Engineering
Flarsheim Hall, Room 531 (Toyota Executive Education Center)

DEADLINE:  Sign up by Wednesday, September 4; After deadline, at $75 additional fee will be charged to cover the extra cost of re-ordering materials.

MATERIALS:  Bring your own copy of the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) 6th Edition.  We will provide you a copy of the PMP Exam Prep (“Rita”) book on the first day of class.

CAN’T MAKE IT TO OUR NEXT CLASS? HOLD A CUSTOM CLASS FOR YOUR OFFICE

SCHEDULE: Determine a convenient schedule through consultation with SCE Continuing Education. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the class documenting 35 class hours.

FEE: Fee is dependent on location, duration and schedule, and number of participants. The course fee includes exam study manual, exam simulation, process placemat and instructor handouts.

LOCATION: Hold the course at your office site, or hold the class on the UMKC Campus in the SCE executive education classroom.

Free PMBOK Download:

If you become a member of PMI and pay your dues, your membership will allow you to download your own version of the PMBOK 6th Edition.  Membership is NOT required to sit for the exam, however it does have benefits.
