National Engineers Week (E-Week) is an annual celebration of the engineering field and the positive impact that engineers make in our world. Organized nationally by the DiscoverE organization, this week is a time to build awareness of the profession and inspire the next generation of engineers.

At UMKC, E-Week is celebrated with exciting events such as the Engineer of the Year competition, LEGO® League Game Night, Alumni and Friends “Building a Network Hour, and a pancake breakfast. All students are encouraged to join in the festivities.

But it’s not just fun and games. During the week, students also can take part in meaningful and inspiring activities to prepare for their own careers and help foster the interest of future engineers. This year, the SCE E-Week Block Party will bring together current students, prospective students, and local outreach groups to build our community.
