Communication is integral to essentially every model of effective leadership, and almost everyone knows this. But what constitutes effective communication? And further, all too often, leaders and managers are unaware of or even oblivious to the implications of their style and approach to communication for success as a leader. After attending this session, participants will better be able to:
- identify the four primary styles of communication and the different ways people process information.
- describe the relationship between emotional intelligence and communication effectiveness.
- assess the implications of their communication style for their success as a leader.
