2019 SUMMER CAMPS

RooFly Drone Camp is a 3 day camp lets 9-12th graders get behind the controls of an unmanned aircraft to explore the fast-evolving world of drone technology. Learn the proper flight mechanics of hazard avoidance, camera-based flight ops, and the practical application of unmanned aircrafts with simulated industrial inspections. Geared for high school students interested in learning about the science and application of drone technology, this camp is taught exclusively by FAA certified pilots and will cover much of the basic material necessary to take the FAA Remote Pilot Knowledge Test.

Biomechanical Engineering Camp is an opportunity for 9-12th graders to explore the field of biomechanical engineering from a variety of academic and hands on perspectives. In this camp students will measure the force of impacts on the musculoskeletal system, operate the motion capture lab, make 3-D prints and perform bone analysis. No previous experience or knowledge is required—just a desire to learn!
